comming back home to arch

After months of no *nix machine at home, and then trying out fedora core (god what an awful pain!), I'm comming back home to arch and wondering why I ever left.

I'm thinking of coming back too... after a few weeks on fedora it just doesn't feel 'right'... I can't explain it

fedora's great for people that want a system already setup for them with minimal fuss. once you want to do stuff for yourself without the config tools, omfg the pain!

Re: comming back home to arch

I started with FC and after I learned enough about Linux I quickly looked for another distro. I'm glad I found Arch!

Re: comming back home to arch

Another vote for Arch.
I've been distro-dancing for a while and had pretty much plumped for Slackware but after a weekend playing with Arch I'm won over.

A big thank you to the founder, the developers, the supporters, the wiki-editors, etc.

I'm sure I represent many happy, but possibly less vocal, users who enjoy the concept and simplicity of Arch and hope I can payback with contributions in some way.
