hey!
when i close my screen on my laptop, and i open it later, the screen is black. i can't get it back. i even tried alt+ctrl+backspace but that didn't actually work.
what can i do to correct this?

what information do you need?
my laptop is a hp nx7000, 1.5 GHz centrino, 512MB RAM, Ati Mobility Radeon 9200

did you tried [Fn][F7] (or the F-button that has an icon to switch to external monitor or so . maybe F6 or F8 or something near that) ... some BIOS tend to mess with graphic-card outputs with some drivers when you close the lid
sometimes, you even have to press [Fn][F7] 2 or 3 times to get screen back (as on my laptop )
The impossible missions are the only ones which succeed.
