sound: cant launch music files as user

hello

i have got a problem: if i want to hear a music file as user that won't work. i just get an error, that my sound card is not correct installed. if i launch xmms as root and play a file there is no problem.

i allready made a group called audio and added my user to this group!

can someone help me?
