Not really a question...

Greetings,

I just installed arch on a box that was a FreeBSD machine. rayjgu3 convinced me to give it a try, and so far I'm very pleased, to be sure. BTW Ray, following the links you provided, I think I have the sound issue figured out. Thanks for the tips!

I just wanted to say that I'm glad to be joining what seems to be a thriving community, and I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can (and maybe helping some once I get more used to the environment).

Actually, I do have one quick question... I do a fair amount of Java, and am anxious to get to work on some on this machine. Anyone have any advice for getting things going in that direction? In fact, I'd like to do some prolog on here as well. I'd be more than interested in anything anyone has to offer for either.

Thanks!
veg
