KDE(mod), random desktops @45 minutes.  Aero AIO & Liquidweather++ Superkaramba widgets (themes, whatever).

And me showing it to a bunch of Windows-users on a different message board.  lol

Re: April 2007 Screenshots

Currently I am trying several lighter WM's, after I realized that I can not trade that much performance for beauty on my system (KDE+Beryl). It looks like I'll stay with IceWM for a while. I installed it just yesterday and found a decent skin. Not much has been changed from the default config:

I had to smile at the lower left corner, too - but I cannot imagine that Windows supports Dolphin (yet tongue).

Are you referring to that start button in my shot? big_smile That is just a temporary fix, as the theme's original had Ubuntu button, and imo it was uglier than this one. When I will have some time, I will work on all that. Main thing is that IceWM is snappier than KDE, the look comes after that.

I've seen young people waste their time reading books about sensitive vampires. It's kinda sad. But you say it's not the end of the world... Well, maybe it is!

Nice desktop. You should check out the Black and White icon set from KDE look:

http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.ph … tent=24645

I think they'll look cool with this setup.

i lifted the conky + visibility configuration from somebody else (though aligned and coloured differently...) who posted their screen in the march thread.  their username is escaping me..

Can you share your conky config?
