I tried to encode some FLACS to ogg vorbis after the most recent update to vorbis-tools, and got the error,
$ oggenc 1.Hyperventilate.flac
ERROR: Input file "1.Hyperventilate.flac" is not a supported formatI ignored the problem for a while, thinking maybe I was just doing it wrong, but I was pretty sure it worked before the update. Today I tried the PKGBIULD from abs, and noticed this warnings from configure:
configure: WARNING: FLAC and/on OggFLAC libraries or headers missing, oggenc
will NOT be built with FLAC read support.
configure: WARNING: FLAC and/or OggFLAC libraries or headers missing, ogg123
will NOT be built with FLAC read support.I do have the flac package installed. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this an issue with the package or something on my end? (should I contact the maintainer? report a bug somewhere?)
Edit: Found something else

Yes, I'm definitely seeing the problem is well. I'm anxious to get a fix, since I rip everything to flac and then encode to oggvorbis. This has me pretty blocked right now.
Anybody know of a fix?

I have no ideas. I did email the package maintainer but haven't heard anything back.

I've opened a bug report and posted a patch here http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/6833

Just upgraded to 1.1.1-5. FLAC seems a-okay.
