convert png to svg

Hi,

Is it possible to convert png to svg? either by cli or an app like inkscape

Have read resulting image will not scale correctly is this true

You may want to try autotrace.

Manual is not too clear to me all I get is a whole load of text output guess I am doing something wrong ;-(

Try imagemagicks convert command.

pelle.k, Imagemagick's convert command won't do this operation.

Mr. Green,

autotrace input.png --output-file output.svg

Their help file is a mess, isn't it? Yuck!
