silc + irssi

Trying to get silc support via irssi. Not looking good.

I have been using this aur package maintained by xterminus. However it's a little out of date and won't download what is needed unless you edit the PKGBUILD and put the correct version and md5sum of silc-plugin-1.0.4.1.

However, when doing a 'makepkg' or 'makepkg -s' I run into the following error:

checking whether GLib is unpacked to irssi dir... no
./configure: line 23200: syntax error near unexpected token `0.7'
./configure: line 23200: `  PKG_PROG_PKG_CONFIG(0.7)'
==> ERROR: Build Failed.  Aborting...

Anyone know what's up? Any help is appreciated.
