[Solved] Audacious and FLAC support?

I'm having some problems to listen to my FLAC audio files. Firstly, I tried mplayer, then BMP (which needed a plugin to play FLAC, I tried to build it from the AUR and it missed libFLAC.la or something), then I tried Audacious (I've installed audacious-player and audacious-plugins, which include FLAC support) and still had no go!

What is going on? Is there something broken with the FLAC support? MP3 playback works just fine with Audacious... I've checked Audacious preferences and the FLAC support plugin is enabled.

Edit: nevermind, my FLAC files had ID3V2 tags and libflac doesn't support those anymore, just stripped the flags using `id3v2 --delete-all *.flac` and now it's working just fine!

Something like libFLAC.so.7? There's currently some stuff that needs to be rebuilt against Flac in order to work. I'd check to see if there are bug reports for those programs about Flac, and if not, file some.

Re: [Solved] Audacious and FLAC support?

I've already tried rebuilding audacious-plugins against Flac and still had the same problem. There are no messages on the console about libFLAC.so.7 missing or something...
