pypanel now borked

So...my pypanel was working, I did a system update, now it's borked.

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/pypanel", line 893, in ?
from Xlib import X, display, error, Xatom, Xutil
ImportError: No module named Xlib

Any ideas?

Re: pypanel now borked

Same problem....each time there's an update, it seems like pypanel dies... maybe we should start suggesting alternatives.

Re: pypanel now borked

I'd love an alternative that offered similar features...

Re: pypanel now borked

Yeah, I agree.  The closest I can get to my pypanel setup is with gnome-panel, which is definately not ideal.

Re: pypanel now borked

Hey, actually, pypanel is working for me.

It seems to work with python2.5 now, try running just pypanel instead of python2.4 /usr/bin/pypanel.
