usb harddrive, permissions

The problem is, that when I add an usb harddrive in gnome, and it gets automounted, then I have access to it, but when changing user then the other one hasn't. Because the hard-disk is invoked under the group root.
That means, that only the invoking user has write access, and all others just read access...

Is there any possibility to invoke it with other permissions? It is very UN-handy to umount and remount it every time the user changes wink

Thanks for help
Cheers
Jan

Try adding yourself to 'storage' group
