latest stable from www.kernel.org

and I keep kernel26 on my system.
Not everything (e.g. speed-stepping and radeonfb) works with kernel26 and stock.config but if my custom kernel(s) won't boot I can use kernel26 ;-)

I'm using custom build, vanilla 2.6.19 kernel, mostly monolithic with a few modules. And without all those initrd/initcpio.

I am currently using both kernel26mm and kernel26.. Since the bcm43xx module for my wifi card is dev, and that the pcie patch hasnt been applied to the normal kernel, I sometimes boot into kernel26mm to try out new patches and see if my wifi card works, and provide test data to the developers of bcm43xx.

Mostly standard kernel26, -beyond at home, -mm on one machine with weird SAS controller.
What i like in Arch - absolutelly module kernels truly rocks, i call Arch "Antislackware in kernel handling"

I used beyond until 2.6.19 broke rtorrent and 2.6.20 isn't out of testing yet.  Using kernel26 now, but will be going back.

If I understood how the kernel and nvidia PKGBUILDS worked a little better I'd likely build my own, just haven't had the time to poke my nose into them.  At the very least I would likely install the beyond kernel from testing and build my own nvidia package.

I use kernel26-ck right now.  I was running beyond and if I could get suspend/hibernate working with my motherboard, I would switch back to it.  I sometimes switch to the generic kernel if it supports my hardware better (until the equivalent version of ck is released).

I use kerne26beyond. By the way, why takes so long time for the kernel26beyond 2.6.20 to be imported to the extra repo?  I remember that it was much faster some time ago. Is there any problem with the maintainer? I hoe not.

I would use beyond, if it was more up-to-date. Due to the still existing bug in the tiacx-beyond-package, I switched to -ck, which is working perfectly fine for me.

I'm very much looking forward to using 2.6.21.1-ck
