KDE Screensavers not really there?

I installed the KDE package, and went to go configure the screensaver. I was impressed by the long list under the control center, but it appears that only a few of them are actually installed or working. Is this right? I can only get a couple of the GL screensavers to work...all the others just cause my KDE desktop to wait until I click somewhere - nothing ever initializes. Is there a package I'm missing? Or a configuration option somewhere?

I have the exact same problem.  Not sure what it is though.

Re: KDE Screensavers not really there?

I think they need the xscreensaver package to work.. can anyone confirm this?

Application of abstract techniques and utilities to solving a particular business problem is NOT a patentable idea. It is a fundamental concept of the IT industry.
