paman doesn't want to use tango icon.

I'm trying to rebuild the paman package in community repo (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?d … =1&ID=9045). It has some broken/missing icons. I found out that these icons are included in the tango-icon-theme. So I installed the tango icons, rebuilt paman, but the icons are not being used. If I copy the icon somewhere in /usr/share/icons/gnome, then it will be used. Am I missing something or is there something wrong with the tango icon package?

Re: paman doesn't want to use tango icon.

Try if 'gtk-update-icon-cache -ft' does the trick.

I had already tried it and it doesn't do anything.

Re: paman doesn't want to use tango icon.

I finally patched the app to use similar icons in /usr/share/icons/gnome. I'm  still  interested in knowing what was the problem, though.
