pacman running on Haiku

I just saw a post on isComputerOn showing pacman being ported to Haiku.  Thought this was interesting, given the possibility of pacman being adopted as Haiku's package manager.

Obligatory Screenshot of it running... not well, but still running nonetheless.

It just has to make it through the unstable and testing repo's. So if it were submitted to Sid today, it'd take a mere 5 years (avg for two release cycles) + debate time + implementation time.

Expect pacman v2.8.2 it to be included by 2021...optimistically.  smile

But anyway, if they get pacman running stable on Haiku, all they need is hardware support (minor detail really smile ), and they'd be golden.

Re: pacman running on Haiku

beos was smart and cute. Hot as chili. Cooler then Mac-O-Thing. Therefore, it has been loved.
