kdemod - HUGE... and it claims it's not! Also, virtual resolution.

I had the sudden urge to try KDE, so I installed kdemod.  This is on a clean install of Arch 64.

The fonts and icons on the desktop, applications, and thing at the top of each window are HUGE!  This is at 1028x768 resolution.  It wasn't like this until I changed it.  My LCD doesn't support resolutions over 1028x768 (sucks, I know), so I can't up it.  In KDE Control Center, it claims the fonts are at a normal level.

Also, the virtual resolution is screwed up with KDM.  The key combination (forget what it is) didn't fix the problem.  I once had it fixed by adding something to xorg.conf, but can't remember what it was.

Thanks,
Richie

No idea about your problem but you might want to change your topic. "HUGE and claims it's not" might make people think it's not lightweight compared to the default KDE pkgs.

I have a suggestion: check DPI settings
