eclipse missing

OK, I have a strange problem. Yesterday I removed Eclipse and all plug-ins to troubleshoot my Netbeans stuff (don't ask, I was on a limb) with

pacman -Rnsc eclipse

Today I wanted to reinstall Eclipse but before that I updated my pacman database by issueing

pacman -Suy

I use testing and the only package updated was pacman itself. Now Eclipse and all plug-ins are missing from the available packages yikes

pacman -Ss eclipse

returns nothing... I'm not excluding the possiblity that my tinkering around yesterday caused this, but I'm totally lost as where to look. Any hints?

Re: eclipse missing

[noriko@LuxBB ~]# pacman -Ss eclipse
extra/eclipse 3.2.2-1
    Eclipse IDE development platform
extra/eclipse-cdt 3.1.2-1
    C/C++ Plugin for Eclipse
extra/eclipse-ecj 3.2.2-1
    Eclipse java bytecode compiler
community/eclipse-pydev 1.3.1-1
Plugin for using Eclipse as a Python IDE

maybe you need to update the database again ... just pacman -Sy

Re: eclipse missing

Thanks for the confirmation. Apparently something in my pacman setup is borked. Is there a way to force a fresh pull in of all availabel packages? The man pages are not saying anything about this and -Sy is not working in this way.

Re: eclipse missing

I don't know why, but today Eclipse "reappeared".
