Pacman Broken..

when I try to do any pacman commands I just get this error: error: /var/lib/pacman/community/ruby-gtksourceview-0.16.0-1/desc: No such file or directory

Now it keeps saying this during pacman -Sy : Failed to open the file ./community.db.tar.gz.part, cause: file not found

Not sure how this happened..

Re: Pacman Broken..

Probably an error occured when you were updating the community repo.  Remove the directory:
# rm -r /var/lib/pacman/community
and retry 'pacman -Sy'.

Re: Pacman Broken..

search your system for a file named community.db.tar.gz.part. It should be located in /var/lib/pacman/.

Re: Pacman Broken..

Ah, I figured out the problem.. Was using a custom Xfer command that used Aria... I just commented that out and now it works fine.
