Hi!
I've a toshiba laptop with (i think) ipw2100 wireless card. But when i run "hwd -e" it's say my wireless card is ipw2200:
IDE interface
piix : Intel Corp.|82801DBM IDE Controller (UltraATA/100)
Ethernet controller
eepro100 : Intel Corp.|82801BD PRO/100 VE (MOB) Ethernet Controller
Network controller
ipw2200 : Intel Corp.|PRO/Wireless LAN 2200
.....
.....
.....
If i load ipw2100 driver it's work well, why hwd don't detects well my wireless card?
Thanks!

What is the output for your network card with lspci?
Maybe you are wrong and it is a 2200. What model is it?

It's a known bug in hwd for at least the last year. I don't expect a fix soon, give hwdetect a shot instead.
