I have a Creative SoundBlaster Live LS SB0229, but can't get it to work. Following the wiki, I modprobe'd snd-emu10k1. Command output is as follows:

What happens when you put snd-emu10k1 in the MODULES-array in /etc/rc.conf and reboot?
Or, if you want to check before you reboot:
# modprobe snd-emu10k1
