Firefox Problem under XFCE4 and X11R7 (load jumps to 100%)

Hi.
Ive got a problem with firefox and dont know how to fix it.
Everytime i try to start it, the CPU load jumps to 100% but firefox doesnt open.
Ive tried reinstalling and deleting the .mozilla in my homedir but this didnt work,
Does someone here have had the same problem?

Any error messages if you run firefox from terminal?

only:   

(firefox-bin:3422): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
        Using the fallback 'C' locale.

but i had that before and it ran without any errors

EDIT:
I have had the problem with galeon too.
Maybe this helps.

Hey
It might be a flash problem.
Try searching the forums. Its come up before a few times.

Ill do that.
An according to opera:
Is it possible that opera is extremly slow handling multiple tabs, and/or flash?
