I would like to take care of the Transmission package in AUR. Now it's in community repository but it hasn't been updated for a while. hmm

not gonna happen any time soon. use a(n) (existing) pkgbuild to fill your own needs and flag the pkg out of date. thats all u can do..

read: you have to become a TU to take handling of any package in community...

svn package in AUR works fine, so... you'll have to stick with that.
