这里的中国人来说说archlinux的中文化问题。

估计有些中国人，故用中文书写。
本来我想用debian的，可是那字体也太难看了。所以只好另寻发行版
不知道archlinux的中文界面如何？

中文支援很不错了，套句内地的用词，牛。

图形界面的中文显示效果和发行版没有什么关系,主要看你选择的字体和配置。
中文字体可以使用微软宋体、文泉驿宋体、文鼎宋体等等,关闭抗锯齿后显示效果和windows不相上下。
如果想省事的话,可以试试opensuse, mandriva,中文字体的显示优化得非常漂亮。

Actually, we use standard US keyboard. We can input chinese character by pronunciation with pinyin input method.

中文支援很不错了，套句内地的用词，牛。

我说你们台湾人到底是怎么会事，正天窝里斗，早晚得被共产党给收复了。
不要搞什么独立，你一说独立，大陆那些"粪青"肯定个个都想灭你们。
台湾政府的口号应该是解放大陆，宣布自己才是真正的中华民族。

Glad i can help.
I am using KDE in simplified chinese.
On my system, I copied some fonts from C:\windows\fonts, such as simsun, simkai, simhei.
For traditional chinese, you can install ttf-arphic-ukai, ttf-arphic-uming, ttf-fireflysung and ttf-ms-fonts, or copy fonts from windows.

After installing these fonts, i turned off aa for small font in kde, and change fonts to tahoma. It looks just the same as in windows on my laptop.

是呀,大家一起维护这里的环境, 科学技术无国界.

ArchLinux的中文支持已经很不错了...,我现在一直用 ArchLinux,
除了打CounterStrike,不然就完全不用Windows了.

不过这样,以后可能会成了Windows文盲了,现在连WindowsVista是什么样都没有试过..

First off, Debian typefaces are not ugly, if you don't believe me, try to find some cleartype patches and some good looking fonts, of course you can go with proprietary MS Yahei fontset, or opensource ones that are just as good.

关键看你怎么配置了咯
我的效果是很好的，用segoe UI和wenquanyi还有lucida console等
每一个字体效果都非常好

And actually other foreigner usually have no nice CJK fonts . The "汉字" look like garbage.

So i suggest everyone install at least one CJK fonts for good-looking.

pacman -S wqy-bitmapfont

or 

pacman -S wqy-zenhei

That was not what we Chinese are using. I guess they are invenited by japanese. Although sure it's Chinese character on the pictures.
