Not sure if this is xgl related or not but gdm no longer starts. I have gdm starting on runlevel five in inittab. I also have a custom.conf to start xgl. Everything worked fine until today. I did a pacman -Syu which included an update to xgl. Rebooted and GDM wouldn't start...all I get is a black screen. No EEs in Xorg.0.log..
And on an unrelated note...did the gnome move to /usr break mono? None of my mono apps will start as non-root user (they work as root). They throw the same error (which I can't post until I can get booted into Gnome
)

Can't help with the gdm problem but regarding the mono apps, a couple of apps bombed on me after the move of gnome. Don't know if it was because of that or just a coincidence. Deleting and reinstall of the offending apps solved the problem for me.

Thanks for the input. In a way, you indirectly helped me solve my GDM problem. Good ol' reinstall did the trick. Maybe I did something stupid as root? I also have been having problems with Samba...but I'm not sure if thats samba or windows. I'll reinstall and see if that helps.
