Resource collisions

I'm running a mythtv box on Arch, on an Asus P5B deluxe wifi motherboard.  The system has not been stable, periodically I'll go to use it and while the power light is still on, the system is not accessible.  Trying to track down what's going on.

This system uses a JMicron pata controller.  This seems to be problematic for some reason.  Device 03:00.0 is the JMicron controller, per the lspci output.  I'm using the latest BIOS updated for the motherboard.  Error.log shows an issue of "resource collisions" and other issues with the JMicron device.  Where do I begin to fix this?

After my last boot, here is the tail of error.log

Found this in dmesg, not sure if it's relevant: (haven't tried pci=routeirq yet)
