Dell D410 wifi issues

Howdy

i installed the appropriate driver and did as per demand on wiki, but i still cant seem to activate wifi.
fn+F2 is the required buttons to push.

This does nothing sad
To be fair, atm there is no wifi around, but it should be possible to activate it.
-wifi-radar does not work, get som error message like:
warning: driver for device eth1 has been complied with version 11 of wireless extension, while thi9s program supports up to v 21.

Im going away for 2 weeks from tomorrow morning, and would really be nice to have my newly installed arch working on my laptop as well as its been running on main machine since i left gentoo smile

It may be because your driver is too old
