makepkg3 and already downloaded sources

Hi,

I hope nobody asked that question before...

Since I upgraded pacman to pacman3 I have trouble with makepkg. I downloaded the PKGBUILD for vmware-server and build the package. After a successful building the source file lives in

/var/cache/pacman/src

. But if I want to install vmware-server-modules, makepkg begins to download the source file again, although it is found under the above path.
With pacman2 there was no such problem, makepkg2 took the already downloaded source file and used it.
Is this a bug or do I have to do something else to get this working again...?

You need to set SRCDEST=/var/cache/pacman/src in makepkg.conf. I noticed that too and I'd consider it a regression.

Have you posted a bug report, in that case?  As has been said numerous times, we don't really read everything in the forums.

Thanks a lot.  (I get flyspray emails when bugs are added, so I saw this before you posted here, he he)
