you don't tell us your location but if you are in north america
Server = http://mirror.cs.vt.edu/pub/ArchLinux/$repo/$bleh

Try changing the protocol of some of the mirrors in the pacman.d/ files. A lot of them may provide HTTP and we just don't add dups of each mirror to the files.
