small hal problem

a while ago after one of the system udates, hal stoped using notification-daemon-xfce for reporting events like when you can unplug your usb-drive. is this because of a new package of hal or notification-xfce-daemon? is anybody else having this problem or could it be that there is something wrong installed on my computer?
i can't provide more information because i don't know where to look for neutral.

Re: small hal problem

In my case, after the upgrade to kernel 2.6.21, when i select "safely remove" for a USB memory stick in KDE this message appears: "The device was successfully unmounted, but could not be eject". Obviously ;-)

But this happens with one of my memories; with the other one, no message.

All the copy, delete... operations seems ok

Bye

Exactly the same happens here, too.
