I want to know if any one had run into this situation. The kernel is upgraded to 2.6.21.8-1 in the recent pacman -Syu. Now I'm not able to configure the essid of my wireless card (broadcom 43xx chipset with ndiswrapper driver).
While I use the command "iwconfig wlan0" to set the essid of my wireless network, a warning message is shown
Warning: Driver for device wlan0 has been compiled with version 22
of Wireless Extension, while this program supports up to version 21.
Some things may be broken...
Further more, if I run "iwconfig wlan0 essid myessid" to configure the adapter, I got the error of an unsupported operation.
I checked the homepage of wireless tools for the latest version, but they say that the latest -pre21 support up to v21 of wireless extension. I cannot get one for supporting v22.
How can I make my wireless work except waiting an upgraded version of wireless tools?

by the way, I downgraded the kernel to 2.6.20.10-1 and ndiswrapper to 1.37-1, and all the things work fine now.

FWIW, the lastest updates did not break my ndiswrapper
