well i ran the set up script runzope and the mkzopeinstance (read to do that on this forum)
it walked me through the stuff where i set up a user name and passwd, i selected SHA, etc...
then when i tried to runzope again from the directory it created for me in /home/zopestuff/ it started dealing out a permissions problem, but there was no place for me to specify a username or password.
tried as root. same thing
tried just now
[nephish@Arch ~]$ python /home/zopestuff/bin/runzope
File "/home/zopestuff/bin/runzope", line 9
export PYTHONPATH INSTANCE_HOME SOFTWARE_HOME
^
SyntaxError: invalid syntax
i think i may have gaked up my install or setup.

Use zopectl in your instance home the start the zope process:
/var/lib/zope/bin/zopectl start

I guess things hace changes since 1995... There is no such thing as zopectl and no ./start neither.
So how do we get it started?
