k3b transcode error - cannot rip DVD titles

Hello. I have installed k3b along with transcode and when I try to use the DVD title rip function, I get an error message. When looking at the debug output, it reads something along the lines of "error loading library XXXX" where XXXX is the given library, either xvid or mpeg depending on the output I choose.

Any idea why this is happening ? I am pretty sure Ive had all dependencies in check.
