Pausing sound and video

Lately, all my music and videos, whether they be YouTUBE videos or just MP3's in XMMS have been randomly freezing or pausing. Videos tend to work for around 5 seconds, then the audio will drop out, the the video itself will freeze. After about 30 seconds, it will start again, and then repeat. Any ideas?

Re: Pausing sound and video

For anyone that cares, it appears to have something to do with a recent kernel upgrade. Not sure which one. Others that are having the same issue say its happened after a kernel upgrade.
