Firefox and Banking sites

Since the last update I can't connect to either my credit card site or my banking site. If I use Opera no problem, any suggestions.

Re: Firefox and Banking sites

Firefox is broken right now. There's a bug filed on it an a bunch of people know about it already. Just wait a bit.

Re: Firefox and Banking sites

Haven't used firefox for a long time but keep it updated and on my system as a backup browser. Just tried to log into a couple of banks I use and noticed the same problem. Have you checked that ipv6 is disabled? Went to about:config and disabled it, works fine now for me. The strange thing is I'm sure I had it disabled before firefox was updated as I've always had to do that to get it to work properly on my system.

Re: Firefox and Banking sites

A new Firefox package just hit the repo so maybe that'll fix it.

Re: Firefox and Banking sites

Yes, it hopefully will. The problem was in a patch applied to the source code during the package building. The patch has since been corrected upstream (by the firefox devs I assume), so a new rebuilt firefox package should fix the problem.
