Googling on the subject of LIVE CD reveals that the kernel may have to be modified to load as a ...ramdisk root/boot...
Other references include an initrd method for the kernel.
Are there changes to the kernel required to make a LIVECD possible?
None of the googling seems to apply to kernel 2.6.5...
Some claim to have made a LIVEDVD copy of LIVECD media which can be done with the .iso in k3b, perhaps!
