WeeChat maintainership

As many of you, archers using WeeChat, may know, i'm active WeeChat contributor and fan since ~0.1.6. Looking at repository refactoring roadmap i thought i'd like to maintain WeeChat package. Is it possible?

Re: WeeChat maintainership

i know i'm not that active in arch community life, but i know that man for a quite a long time, he's gonna be a good wee maintainer imho, and the fact, that he's a part of a team makes it even better.

Re: WeeChat maintainership

I don't know where weechat will "end up" when it's all said and done, but you are 100% welcome to send me PKGBUILDs and any time and I will update them as soon as I can (please make sure they work).

I actually like this method of working, and Essien has been talking about it on some of the MLs.  Perhaps we can flesh out a good way to work this in simply by doing it.

So anyway, right now, weechat is in extra.  It may stay there (I think enough people use it to warrant it), BUT, as I said, you could consider yourself a maintainer and simply send me updated PKGBUILDs when there's a change.
