composite not working after update

composite not working after update xf86-video-i810 -> xf86-video-intel (i'm using xfce)
and i get this new error on my Xorg.0.log:

(EE) intel(0): detecting sil164
(EE) intel(0): Unable to read from DVOI2C_E Slave 112
(EE) intel(0): Unable to read from DVOI2C_E Slave 236
(WW) intel(0): Existing errors found in hardware state

any sugestions ?

Are you sure that's the only error you can find in the log? I had a problem of not having DRI enabled because it didn't have enough memory (it was allocating too much memory for caching lines for pixmaps or something). I solved it by adding an

Option "CacheLines" "768"

to my "Device" section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf (I use 1024x768 resolution, so you might want to change the value according to your resolution).
