HI All,
when I press the scroll wheel of my mouse (which acts as a button as well), firefox jumps to a spamlike site called www.uptime.com.
Has firefox been spam-ized or is this supposed to happen?

that's normal behavior. on middle click it will go to whatever is in your clipboard/buffer. if you type and copy "google.com" for example, middle click will go to google. you can turn it off with middlemouse.contentLoadUrl = false in about:config.
