2 fast 2 read

I am struggling to get my wifi going, but that's not the question here.

During boot all the deamons get started and they put a (error) message on the screen. When that all is finished the vc/1 login-prompt is shown. But as one of the last things I see is an error-message flashing too fast for me te read.
Well, I study the output of 'dmesg' but that does not show the message. I look in the various files in '/var/log' (as far as they are in readable format) but I cannont find this message there either.

I was able to "bypass" the problem to put a "sleep 10" in /etc/rc.local but I agree with everybody calling that an ugly solution. But is there another way I can browse those messages?

Somewhere between "too small" and "too large" lies the size that is just right.

Re: 2 fast 2 read

edit /etc/issue
remove 1st line
leave the 2nd alone
reboot
when all is done booting you will be able to see what your looking for

if you want hold "Shift" & press "Page Up" and youll be able to scroll up the boot message
this was possible to do before im sure it still is

Re: 2 fast 2 read

Great, thanks. I like it better this way.
