JavaFX scripts

Have you all checked this out?  It was announced last week (by Sun) at JavaOne.  What are your thoughts?

I've followed the development for some time now (it used to be called F3 http://blogs.sun.com/chrisoliver/)
I think its a great idea, as it really is one smooth language for developing cool GUIs (just check out the tutorials on how easy you can do animations)
The only thing I dont like abut it, is how Sun is selling it as a competitor to flash and silverlight as it clearly is not at the moment.
What it is however, is the best language for doing 2d and desktop app development.

For people who found swing and java2d to difficult, do youself a favour and check out javaFX...
