Wireless led stopped working with kernel 2.6.21

Heya people

Righto, after updating to kernel 2.6.21 my acerhk (newest from community) module doesn't seem to work any more. It loads fine and all with no error messages or such. Only thing dmesg outputs is this:

Acer Travelmate hotkey driver v0.5.35
acerhk: Your hardware does not need polling enabled for hotkeys to work, you can safely disable polling by using the module parameter poll=0 (unless you want to play around with the driver and see if there are buttons which need polling).

Normally I have a script that does:

echo 1 > /proc/drivers/acerhk/wirelessled

But it doesn't write anything to the file and now I'm stuck with cable sad

Any fix around?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Wireless led stopped working with kernel 2.6.21

it is because of the new acpi-drivers! i don't know how it is on acer notebooks, but look at the link and then you can search for more information.

look at the asus-laptop commits more exactly!

Been trying to look around on google and other forums, but haven't been able to find anything that solves the problem.. Other must have the same problem or is it just some module that makes acerhk worthless?
