gtk-chtheme overwhelms gnome-theme-manager

I just used gtk-chtheme in icewm and when I returned on gnome, I had the gtk theme instead of the one of gnome. So I tried putting the theme I wanted with gnome-theme-manager : Ocean Dream. But then, just a part of the theme would load, I had to find a theme that fits well with Ocean Dream on gtk-chtheme.

Gtk-chtheme has made some sort of shortcircuit on gnome themes. :S

Help!

Re: gtk-chtheme overwhelms gnome-theme-manager

Okay. I removed the folders starting by .gtk except .gtk-gnutella and then I was able to load the theme I wanted on GNOME. But on icewm, I couldn't have a good theme without gtk-chtheme. Well I don't know how if I can.

Re: gtk-chtheme overwhelms gnome-theme-manager

Run gnome-control-center in the terminal from icewm and click the theme button. You can change your themes from there. Of course they will change in GNOME as well though.

Re: gtk-chtheme overwhelms gnome-theme-manager

It still doesn't work. I switch back to GNOME and it still takes the theme I've chosen in gtk-chtheme instead of the one with gnome-control-center.

Re: gtk-chtheme overwhelms gnome-theme-manager

gtk-chtheme writes out ~/.gtkrc-2.0, this is what sets the theme in icewm, and it's also the one setting the theme in gnome.

maybe just use gtk-chtheme in gnome?

or, run gnome-settings-daemon in icewm, and use the gnome-theme-preferences in icewm..

Maybe. [ˈmaɪbeɪ] (It's how it's pronounced in Australia huh?)

I'll probably use gtk-chtheme in gnome tongue.
