anjuta ate my computer

Yesterday, 4 May, I installed anjuta, it complained about libssl, so I installed openssl. Next it complained about Xinerama. Next firefox says it is also missing Xinerama. So I updated firefox. Still no luck. I removed anjuta and firefox and reinstalled firefox. Firefox is still failing to load. Firefox was quite happy before this. rxvt and xterm are still working.
So what has gone wrong ? and how can I fix it without reinstalling from scratch?

Re: anjuta ate my computer

You haven't been doing your sysupdates. wink

You have to keep up with -Current if you want to use extra packages not on the CD.
