Module r8169 not covering my situation

Hi everyone...

I come to you hoping for some resolution to my problem, which is a bit awkward...

My ethernet card, Realtek 8168B PCI Express Gigabit, built in an ASUS A8Js used to work a few kernels before when the proprietary r1000 module was loaded with r8169....

This r1000 was recently dropped, because the r8169 was suppose to cover all the situations... Seems like it's not covering mine....
The hwdetect correctly detects that module...

ifconfig detects... ethtool same thing....

Software acts like the cables were unplugged!!
Already tried to compile from source (obtained from realtek - r8168)
Get the same problems....

The card works perfectly on Windows.....

What can I do??

Whoops... Turns out, after lots of wasted time, a hard reset was my salvation...
