Hello,
I have a very strange problem. Since larch is using kernel26 instead of kernel26beyond, when I try to play a flash file in firefox my larch cd freeze and on a remote ssh session I can see "Oops: 0000 [#1]".
I have this strange behaviour with the default profile with kernel26 and kernel26ck on different computers.
If I replace kernel26 by the last kernel26beyond, it works.
Can someone understand something ?
thanks

Have you tried the same software versions and the same hardware on an installed (i.e. non-live) system?
I suppose it's vaguely possible that it could be a unionfs problem, but these have been less frequent recently. You could try using aufs instead of unionfs (add aufs to addedpacks and change initcpio_larch to initcpio_larch_aufs).

Hello gradgrind,
First, thank you for larch it's a very nice script and thank you for reply me. I have try with aufs and it's working.
Is it safe to use aufs instead of unionfs ?

i'll try it, on my livecd

Yes, I guess aufs should be 'safe'. It's possibly better than unionfs (slax uses and promotes it), but it's only being developed for 32-bit systems (at present).
