Dual Monitor Woes

Hey I was wondering if I could get some help with my dual monitor setup.
I have an ATI Radeon X300 graphics card and I can't seem to get it to display a dual monitor setup. I would like to extend the desktop to the second display. I followed the ATI instructions for fglrx  on the wiki to the letter to get everything working. The exact issue begins at startup, when I have the second monitor plugged in to the 2nd adapter, it mirrors my first display until it tries to initialize kdm, then both screens go blank and the system will respond to nothing except a [ctrl]+[alt]+[del]  and the system must be rebooted.
I have pasted my xorg.conf I hope this is enough information
Thanks in Advance smile
