Firefox is now called "Bon Echo"???

I have a doubt. I have upgraded firefox with pacman, and it strangely is now called "Bon Echo". Also, the firefox-i18n doesn't work in this new version. What is happening???

Greetings

it's been that way for a while. it's a branding/licensing issue, i think.

Re: Firefox is now called "Bon Echo"???

Slackhack's right, it's a trademark issue relating to Mozilla's branding of Firefox. It's been like this for ages. If you're finding that some sites aren't working properly, you can alter the user agent string by typing 'about:config' in the url box and search for Bon Echo. Can't remember if it just matches the one setting entry, if not, it's the setting with user.agent in its name. Just replace with 'Firefox' and all should be good.

firefox-i18n wasn't updated at the same time, it needs a new version to catch up to firefox.
