what is the command to start rosegarden? i have it all installed already, just wondering how to start it ya.. thanks!

I don't use it myself, but I'd suggest you look through the package file list for whatever is in /usr/bin.

If you don't have it installed: http://www.archlinux.org/packages/files/6128/

I imagine you tried "rosegarden" so maybe you should add /opt/kde/bin to your $PATH.

EDIT: I found out the importance of xterm being a login shell, instead of a subshell. Only a login shell sources the profile. So ignore the rest of my post.

See if it's there first, then check /etc/profile.d/ for something with kde (I don't use it so I don't know if something like that exists) and make sure it's executable. Then "source /etc/profile"

I have to add that to my ~/.bashrc myself, I used to think /etc/profile was sourced by default, but it isn't. (Right?)
