Dragonfly BSD

Anyone ever installed and tried out dragonfly BSD before? I've always had a thing for BSD and I'm thinking of installing this on an older machine. What do you guys know about it?

Re: Dragonfly BSD

Well, I did you FreeBSD for a while some time ago. Before DragonFly was forked...
Right now I am considering giving a try to PC-BSD. DragonFly still feels somehow experimental to me ;-)

Re: Dragonfly BSD

@vlada, PCBSD is just a mere FreeBSD, but customized for desktop. DragonFlyBSD is a fork of FreeBSD 4.x. There is of course a massive lack of drivers for this fork, but it has got some nice technologies.

There you can follow the current development.

Something about the virtual kernel.

It's using pkgsrc from NetBSD as package management.

Use UNIX or die.
