Hostname keeps being changed

hi,

My hostname at boot keeps being changed from "localhost" to "dhcppc3" but
when i disable 'network' in 'rc.conf' it stays as normal and apache starts

From everthing.log:
localhost dhcpcd[4994]: wlan0: setting hostname to `dhcppc3'

Any ideas?

Your DHCP server is sending you a new hostname. You need to configure dhcpcd to ignore it. (I don't use DHCP, so I can't tell you how to do it.)
